ShopSavvy Now Lists eBay Items

One of the most popular, and helpful, tools for Android so far is ShopSavvy.  The app comes at a perfect time – Christmas shopping is upon us and the economy isn’t doing all that swell.  Using ShopSavvy, one can scan an item’s UPC code and find the best places to buy a product.  Be it online or locally, you can save time and gas by comparison shopping with your Android handset.

Today, the folks behind the application, BigInJapan have announced a way for users to list their items on eBay as well as check to see if someone is selling something you’ve scanned.  If you are looking to find the best, most competetive pricing, eBay is a logical place to start poking around.

About an hour ago we decided that it might be worth it to launch an Alpha (i.e. not Beta) eBay listing tool.  The tool is very simple.  You enter:

  • UPC of item you are selling on eBay
  • eBay auction URL
  • buy it now price
  • Address of item
  • Phone number of seller
  • Auction duration
  • And pay us $1 via PayPal

Now your item becomes relevant to bargain shoppers out in the real world, people who are actually ready to buy.

Generally speaking, the “shopping around” will get even better with the boys at Biggu adding hundreds of retailers each day.
