HTC has just announced the HTC Hero – the first of a line of products that will have HTC Sense – a customized User Interface for Android that the company claims will take the platform to new heights. And I don’t doubt it.
While most of our talk on Phandroid about carrier/manufacturer customization of Android has been negative in scope - ie suffocating features in favor of proprietary services – you can likely look at HTC as 3rd party Android Developer bringing a new experience entirely to the platform. Some might like to say a Rosie experience if you know what I mean.
