The Motorola Droid Tao/Sholes has passed the FCC two times already – the first time for CDMA (Verizon) the 2nd time for GSM (Europe) and now it looks as if AT&T and Rogers friendly GSM bands come with the goods. Don’t take my word for it… but I wouldn’t argue with the FCC:
I wouldn’t expect this to hit AT&T any time soon… and maybe ever. This may just be a Canadian Rogers thing with Verizon getting the American exclusive, but that doesn’t mean its impossible or that you could snag it unlocked. Anyways, more Droid in more places makes everyone happy.
