The Androider

The Verizon DROID by Motorola may be getting all the headlines today, but we’re already wondering when the smartphone might show up in GSM form.  One such device has already made an appearance in a Tinhte.com video, and while there’s no extra detail about the DROID itself – bar the SIM card – it’s certainly whet our appetites.

Of course, what the video can’t tell us is when the GSM DROID might arrive in the US or Europe.  An AT&T-friendly version has been tracked crossing the FCC’s path already, though, so we’re hoping it’ll be sooner rather than later.
