Another day, another Android phone. Okay, not exactly but a guy can dream, can’t he?
A new Samsung handset (i6500) has picked up its WiFi interoperability certification over the weekend and it’s likely to be running Android. Why do we say that? Well, the codename “Saturn” fits perfectly with other their other models so far. The i7500 is named ‘Galaxy’ while the i5700 goes by ‘Spica’ (brightest star in the constellation Virgo).
If Samsung continues their current trend, the Saturn could boast an 800MHz processor and should be running Android 2.0 when it arrives. We don’t know any other specs at this time, but hopefully the phone runs circles around the competition when it arrives. (See what we did there?)
This will make the 5th Android handset following the Galaxy, Spica, Behold II, and Moment.
