For those of you interested in the Android-based nook from Barnes & Noble, you’ll be happy to learn the following bit of information.
Display models of nooks will be delivered to stores within the next couple days but not put on display for another 5-7 days so employees can become acquainted with the device. Many, if not all, stores will not have nooks in stock due to the high pre-order demand.
Lastly, if someone returns an un-opened nook, the store can keep it for re-sale. This will probably the only way to find one for purchase at a store. As of right now, there is no word on what they will do with opened nook returns in regards to discounts/refurbishing, etc.
Did any of you preorder one of these? Are any of you still hoping to get your hands on one of these in time for Christmas?
