Samsung has confirmed that the Galaxy S will receive some Froyo love in September. Keep in mind that Samsung UK tweeted this, so they could be referring to the international i9000 Galaxy S, not the American versions. But this would go hand-in-hand with what we were told last month about the American Galaxy S devices getting Froyo.
If you recall, Samsung hasn’t exactly had the best track record when it comes to upgrades. That whole Behold 2 crisis left us all sorely disappointed, and I’d hate to see the same thing happen here. Hopefully, the tweet applies to all Galaxy S’s and there’ll be enough Froyo for everyone!
